Daily or weekly activities are part of everyones life, and many set goals for those activities, such as running 2 miles, hiking with 800 meters of elevation gain, or maybe burn 2800 calories.
If the result is below their goal, people run the risk of not reaching their superior goals, like for instance loosing weight or preparing for a competition.
We spent the last weeks working on a new feature that lets you log your activities, like running, cycling etc. You can track them either by entering your data after an event, like when you’re done with your exercise; or by automatically importing data from your FitBit device. They will be added as items to an Ambytion which serves as a mini blog.
Sharing your activities with your friends or the public makes you accountable and you will likely see better results, as you have a higher motivation to succeed. Still, many people will find it more comfortable to keep it private, that’s ok too! Considering that it can be satisfying to look back after a while and see what you’ve done, and to enjoy the green marks for each activity on the calendar.
How to I record activities?
Create a new Ambytion and choose daily or weekly plus your weekdays.
After you’re done with your excercise, run, hike or whatsoever, open that Ambytion and enter your miles, minutes or hours by clicking on the day in the calendar.
You can also choose FitBit when creating the Ambytion and it will automatically sync with your FitBit account every time you sync your device. Every day will appear as a milestone in your Ambytion, and you can easily see the days on which you achieved your goal.
